The cocktails are delicious, but the food used to be better!
Best Pub in this Magic Town - Trier !
Very nice and cool cafe. The service is very friendly and well trained. The food and drinks were very good and very tasty! Greetings to the kitchen !! Gladly again!!
Very good
Tool. ??
Very inviting location in the heart of Trier. Dark rustic bar and the guest room in a mix of Cuba and Indian style. A great and inviting ambience with good music. The service was quick and very friendly, but unfortunately not the barman (10 minutes for 4 drinks) or the kitchen staff. It took 45 minutes from ordering to serving the ordered dishes. We would have understood that if Café Rappel had been full. But it wasn't. This fact should be worked on urgently. Therefore only 4 stars ⭐️. Despite the long wait, the food was really really good. The four of us were super satisfied with it. The taste and the portions are just right and to the point. Conclusion: those who stop here should bring time with them.
The burger was top notch, the homemade lemonade was delicious and my wife & daughter rated their Mexican food as the best this side of California and Texas, USA. When I'm in Trier again, I know where to eat!
Happy hour all day on Thursdays, the ambience corresponds to the name (positive), the potato twisters are good, the zombie cocktail is priced within the framework (happy hour), but I didn't feel any "zombie effect" as I know the cocktail from Hamburg. Somehow the revolutions were missing. Therefore only the four stars
Very friendly service, delicious potato twisters, but the zombie cocktail was more of a laugh, I definitely know that better from Hamburg. More like juice with some alcohol The waitress was there, asked how they liked the cocktail, after complaining, came a new cocktail, very tasty, so one star r
Food (steak) were well prepared and very tasty. Service was very nice, but should be faster. I can recommend it.
Day trip held in Luxembourg. Enjoyed something with the group. Toilet was in the basement, down spiral staircase. You must be agile. There was 1 man who served everything.
Delicious eaten! Pre-laid nachos and main-cooked steak. Delicious in taste. Highly recommended
Waited almost half an hour until we were served, then we had four different waiters during the entire stay. The steak was brought to the table raw. The fries fell off the plate while serving and were simply left on the table. And finally waited forever until we could pay. Unfortunately I cannot recommend it.
Great Saturday, the service is top notch, observing the corona rules can sometimes be difficult, but everything was kept! The food was tasty and the cocktails were great! With pleasure again, dear Coyote team!
Nice ambience, large outdoor area. Our waitress was courteous and courteous. Drinks ok but nothing special. The burger was enjoyable, but the chicken pieces at the "Chicken Mole Poblano" were totally seared and dry to death. Overall acceptable at a medium price level, but we don't have to have that again.
We were guests with 5 people, I am shocked how the Corona rules are disregarded. There are masses of guests sitting at the serving area (counter) without any distance, masks or separation. The spacing rules of the table arrangement are completely ignored. Guests constantly go through without a mask without being asked to wear one. Worst of all, no list was kept for follow-up, I did not experience any gastronomy in Corona time.
Wait staff forgot our food. After an hour and a repeated request, we had to order again. Various drinks were forgotten again and again. The waiter was probably new or simply incompetent. His colleague was much more tough!
Awesome place! They have an happy hour with discount for cocktails. Very friendly staff ! We did not try the food but it looked super tasty! The interior decoration of the coyote Cafe Trier is also very nice: you really feel like in Mexico.
Drinks where warm, personel was busy and unkind
The waitress behaved very naughtily. The table was dirty and sticky. The restaurant staff did not hear about hygiene. The food was ok, neither good nor bad. But the cocktails were a disaster - full of water. I do not recommend at all!
The Coyote Café Trier deserves the full 5 stars. The food is very good and the price is right. We have been there several times and have not been disappointed yet. There is something for everyone: casseroles, chicken wings, salads, nachos, burritos / enchiladas, burgers and a wide variety of fries, with the recommendation clearly going to the so-called "twisters". Unfortunately, the choice is quite limited for vegans. For the salads there is only "Italian" as a sauce, which mainly consists of vinegar and oil. Of course you can eat fries and nachos. Overall, the restaurant is highly recommended. It is very tasty and the price-performance ratio is right.
Everything takes a long time, the staff barely looks at you. We had to wait over an hour for the main course, the first beer ordered never came. 2x had to ask for cutlery, unfortunately the food was lukewarm. Food was nothing wrong with it, but could be much better. They were also small tortillas, while the map specifically says "large". I'm writing this review in the 15 minutes since we've asked for the bill ... haven't seen anything yet. After 3x questions, meanwhile I received the bill. Well over the price for such mediocre and little food. And of course the never brought beers were just there.
Great food, good cocktails. Good price.
Lady that served us had a Bancontact with her before we wanted to pay, whe waved with our card to pay and she comes back without it saying she doesnt have one. Weird
Posted a review a few months ago, a very bad one, this time it was a totally different experience, great food and great service ??
Must go to if you love mexican food en whiskey buttered ?. Good service friendly staff. Enough tables to sit, allmost every day Happy Hour.
I typical go here for the drink specials or breakfast buffet
Nice cocktails, but very crowded. We had to wait for 40 minutes to have a waitress coming
We loved the place. Mexican atmosphere, some difficulty to speak English with the waitress, but they a good fajita.
Come here for drinks, not for food! They offer a lot of dishes but most of it is fast food. The Mexican dishes e.g. say "...salsa sauce" but it is actually some kind of ketchup. Also everything is very oily and not authentic at all. For a better Mexican food (and a more quiet place) go to Mama Pacha just about 5 min away. Too bad because atmosphere is usually pretty nice at the coyote.
Great taco salads!!!
Service was slow and my quesadillas was cold
Great!
Awesome staff, great drinks, amazing food
Food is good and not expensive. The terrace is nice. Always have water for your dog and the service is good.
Very poor service
Nice good tasting food but burgers feels like being made of sausage meat. All in all tasty food but service is slow although not a busy place. Large inside area as well as outside. Toiletts are clean.
Good food. Not expensive. Service is good too. Noisy
The place looked nice, but the food was disappointing. Fajita didn't taste like mexican food. Fried chicken was ok. Staff was nice, long wait for the food.
A group of friends and I ate here and were met with a long wait for food in an almost empty restaurant, mediocre to downright bad food and disrespectful service. My friend in particular wanted the nachos they ordered returned and taken from the bill because it was as if someone had paper mache all the chips together with hardened cheese, making it inedible. The waiter replied with "this is how we always do it" and "you ordered it, you should have known". Left us all flabbergasted. Only redeeming quality was the cocktails and even those were sub par. If you're looking for "authentic" latin food in Trier, best find somewhere else.
Nice bar with a good amount of seating. Service was good and portions were generous.
Good food, comfy setting.
We lost this place, which we saw by chance, as we wandered around and found it over half an hour and found it again. We can say that it is tempting for us to be on a quiet side street than other places. The menus are delicious, prices close to others. It was a lovely dinner for us. Highly recommend Tavsiye
Happy hour every day from 5pm untill 8pm. Mexican food. Good cocktails. Open area where you can seat in summer.
Amazing place ! Though we received another dish as ordered the waiter made sure we are satisfied. He brought extra bread and sauce and after paying they offered us free coffee - amazing service ! And the food was great as usual ! Because of this experience I decided to write a commentary! We are coming again haha
Nice place for young people
Great daiquiris!
Nice environment but not really Mexican. They were playing lambda and Spanish music on the guitar.
This was our second time at Coyote Trier. And again we were convinced of everything. Of course, it is rather empty at 4 pm. The service but the 7 occupied tables alone well under control. We got our order quickly and everything came quickly and as ordered. Everything was delicious and as you would expect from a Mexican in Germany. Wishes were implemented. We had to do with motivated employees, quickly but consistently friendly and correct.
